We are looking at setting up some kind of system which could notify anyone arriving at the station of the members who are turning out privately to the job. At present the truck often sits on the pad waiting for crew even though two or three of us are going direct.
This would need to run on Australian UHF CB channels. The idea is that all brigade members would receive normal pager notification of turnout and could then use their radio to let the station know whether they are en route to either station or direct to job.
Is this feasible? Any suggestions on how to implement it? [If so can you try to describe it in layman's terms for me
