How far out of range can I expect the GP300 UHF (438-470)MHz radio to go out of band? I am hoping to be able to RX frequencies at 423Mhz. This seems like a long-shot to me, however, the RSS hacking will allow me to do it and still work with 462 frequencies as well.

Hi:

If you are willing to give up some of the
higher end freqs, yes you can make the 438-470 Mhz GP300 work @ 432 but requires some
hex editing.

There are ( 2 ) VCO coils you can make
minor adjustments too.
