hi there everybody...i hope some body can help me with this .. i have got a few ht600e radios they are i belive a european mt1000 i have been succesfully reprogramming them with mt1000 rss although i think there is specific ht600e rss out there (not ht600)
they are 99 channels uhf bandsplit 438-470 i have programmed them with -first 8 channels the uk frs frequencys ie 446 mhz that is within the bandsplit and then channels 9 and 10 on to our local 70 cms repeaters 433 mhz
now i did this last year by followin instructions off this site and with a hex editor altering the 2 files (one starts with A749.. and the other B749... and it worked fine now i want to add some more out of band frequencys (433 again) on the next channel (11) but the radios just wont have it !! it seems to write to the radios but when i go to channel 11 the lcd displays 11 for a fraction of a second and then just locks up it just diplays 88 a nd i have to deleate that channel and rewrite the radio
this is happening to all three of my radios they dont seem to like more than 2 out of band frequencys... what am i doing wrong??? may be i need the specific ht600e rss but the mt1000 rss seems read and write to the radios fine !! ok thanks for reading i hope es allways there will be somebody out there who knows whats up bye for now from the uk g0mdv mark

Could this be a problem in the radio due to the VCO not locking on the lower frequency?
I know if you try to go too far out of range the VCO will not lock and the radio acts dead P200/HT600.
