Just acquired a GTX mobile which "seems" to have the ignition sense enabled....here's the thing, when I apply power to the power leads the unit will power on breifly when turning it on and then goes off. When I apply power to pin #10 on the accy. connector the radio stays on ALWAYS, even when the power knob is in the off position. One additional thing, the internal speaker seems to be disabled, but again, the 16 pin is configured for int. speaker operation. Anyone know why it might do this??? I can not find any options in the RSS to change any of the 16pin config. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of things to check. Many people assume it's the same as a Maxtrac & short pins 15 & 16 for the internal speaker, but it's actually 13 & 16. The pins remain the same for the external speaker, 1 & 16. Do you have sound with an external speaker? If not, you probably have an audio PA problem. If it does work, then your internal speaker may be bad. Does the unit work properly with the 12 volts on pin 10, other than not powering off? The reason I ask is that the drawing of the 16-pin connector that comes with a new radio may lead one to believe they are looking at the front of the connector, instead of the back, and people end up putting the voltage on pin 8 instead of 10, which does all sorts of weird things. Should be 5th pin from the left, top row, looking at the back of the radio (assuming you're not holding the radio upside down).
