Matt,
Here's the breakdown from my gr300 book
Unidirectional: S2-1off
Receiver keys trans with pin 8 cor signal:S2-off and S2-3on
No remote control: S2-4off
Normal muted audio from rx:S2-5off & S2-6on
Cor operation:S2-7off
Unidirectional repeater:S2-8off & S2-9off
1.5 second drop out delay: S2-10on & S2-11off
Configuration is standard:S2-12off
Hope this helps
Doug

Simplier yet, just use my extender module and it is plug and play!
The Motorola RICK design has a bunch of problems in it, too many to go into here.
Some M216 radios did not have the proper interface connections for the RICK.
