Anyone know off hand what the color of the horn wire is for this truck. I haven't done one in a while and thought it used to be black with a red stripe, but since I didn't see one fitting that color I guess not.

Any suggestions?

The '03 is blk/red and can be grabbed at the 74-pin bulkhead.

I assum the 04 is the same but maybe not. If not, go to the relay and open pin 85.

Thanks Jim.

I used to grab it at the wiring harness coming out of the column because it was the easiest place to get it. But since I didn't see a blk/red there I thought they may have changed the color.

I start digging and see if I can find it.

Or just put the DVOM on the 20V scale, ground one end, start probing column harness wires while pressing the horn button.
Make sure you have a DVOM with at least 1megohm input impedance. With 1meg, there's not a chance you'll blow an airbag off- not even close.

Should read 12v with horn off and go to 0v when horn activates.
