What do I need to program my UHF MTS2000. I have an "M" RIB that I use on my MT1000. I keep seeing this SRIB mentioned. Do I need a Smartrib or can I use the regular 4008b RIB I have? Also, Anyone know how much the RSS is for the MT2000 and MTS2000 (Same part number rvn4176G)?
Thanks,

You can use the regular rib to do programming. You only need the smartrib to Flash the radio for new features. BUT if the radio is programmed for a trunking system you will need the system key in addition to the RSS to make changes to the programming...
