Unitrol Omega compatibility and sound

Unitrol Omega compatibility and sound

I am upgrading from a touchmaster to an omega system. I got a FedSig Unitrol 8102 controller for the omega. Is this compatible with all omega90 amps (I mean those that say FedSig and those that read Unitrol on them)??
And if so, do they sound much different from one another? I just got my hands on a unitrol older brand omega90 amp for my Fedsig controller, thus my question.

Any help greatly appreciated!
