1987 Chevy V10 Pick-Up Wiring

1987 Chevrolet Silverado V10 (V-8 350)

I would like to know if anyone knows the correct wire colors to tie a flasher unit into the brake lights and Reverse lights on this truck.

Also, is there any way to just make the hazzard unit already in this vehicle do an alternating flash? It did it once but I found a shorted bulb and I know thats not good ;-) but I would like to make this truck have as many possible flashing/strobing lights on this truck. I appreciate the information.

Also is there any website I can visit and get the trucks wiring diagrams / shcematics?

Use a good tail light flasher like a sound off and you can get the brake at the pedal its the white and the reverse I believe is light green at off the colum. Its been a while but that is how we did it in the 90's
