Hi,

I do not have the model number on the unit but, I need any info you have on it.

It is the single unit, that the battery lies flat and slides into the unit. I would like to know what exactly this unit does.

ie. Discharge/charge, charging time, does it lose the memory on the battery to make it last longer? etc.

Thank you very Much,

Josh S.

The charger thru Motorola is known as the conditioning charger. It is actually made by a company in South Florida, called AdvanceTec. http://www.advancetec.com ....The charger rapid charges a battery using whats referred to sometimes as a "burp " charging technique. It use both a high current charge and a negative current pulse. Once a charge is achieved the chargers goes into a maintenance mode and pulses , not a trickle charge, the battery so that it can be left on the charger till needed. Have been using them for approximately 10 years, hands down one of the best chargers around. Also if you have a saber, stx, mx .. or GE or Kenwood that uses 7.2-7.5 volt batteries, you can buy adapter trays/pockets and use the same charger, or go with gang charger for different units. Cost is around 80.00 on the single unit with pockets at 10-15 each.

The Part numbers are WPPN4002AR for the base and WPPN4004AR for the Jedi/HT1000 type battery adapter plate.
