R1225 Battery Revert

I know I saw it somewhere, but now I can't find it. I have a R1225 repeater and want to install the 12 volt battery revert unit to the repeater. I cannot find the Motorola Part number for the revert unit. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I just bought one from M. You want an HLN9455A battery revert kit.

FYI a nice backup battery charging power supply is from ICT.. they come in 12,20 and 30 amp models.

It will power your radios and charge your backup batteries. Has DIP switches to set the size of the battery and has a microprocessor to control the charge. they are not expensive and are switching units so they run as cool as a cucumber.

I have a few out there and they work great!

ICT is a good chaoice, buts requires the replacement of the whole power supply.
The HPN9005 has the battery revert built-in and is the standard power supply in the GR1225, GR400 and GR500 repeaters.
A lot of so-called GR1225 repeaters came from dealers who put the cheaper power supplies in them.
The R1225 repeater package, in the 8" wide cabinet, is suposed to come with the HPNxxxx that is made by DuraComm, it is a switching supply and has a seperate thermo sensor for the fan that attaches on the heatsink of the 1225 radio. The fan only runs when the PA gets hot.

DuraComm also makes an add on battery revert/charge circuit module. Much simpler than the Motorola one and NO moving parts (relays).
