Error 58: Radio Codeplug Error

Post by brandon75181 »

I need some help. I was programming my SM120 with a few new channels. It seemed to work fine. When I noticed I forgot a channel. I went back to read the codeplugs so that I could add/change one, and it reads 100% but then pops up with ERROR 58: Radio Codeplug Error. Because of that error, it is not reading the freq's, so therefore I can't change or add another mode.

Any help with this problem is appreciated!

I had the same problem with a maxtrac, did the exact same thing you did. Ending up with a bad logic board, I really dont know how I did it ??? Any way I am having to send it out to have the board blanked and reinitialized. Good Luck ... You may want to try going to the service menu and moving the power settings up or down by one or two settings then save. Then try to read you codeplug. This was suggested to me by many on the great!!! batlabs board!!

Good luck
The only radio is a Motorola Radio!!

I tried to adjust the TX power settings. I think I did it right and it did not work for me. Any other ideas? I don't like the idea of a bad logic board.

PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!
