Installation stories wanted about Geo Trackers

Post by w8iss »

I just aquired a 1997 Geo Tracker and am wondering if anyone has any hints and/or horror
stories for this type of vehicle?

There isn't many places to mount equipment unless I remote some of it which I can't do with what
I have already.

Anything would be appreciated.

Hint: if you mount a Specrtra, X9000, Maratrac or any other large radio in these, it will probably lean 2" to the side you put the radio on!

The tranciever portion of a Maratrac or X9K mounted in the back would probably lift the front wheels off the ground.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

:-?
