Install help with 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premier Edition!
I have recently ordered a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premier Edition SUV which will have the factory Sirius satellite tuner installed. I am looking to install my CDM-1550LS + UHF mobile, Federal Signal SS-2000 Smart Siren, Whelen 6-Stobe pack and my code 3 LEDX dual dash light. Does anyone have any suggestions, pictures, etc. that may be helpful?

What does it have for a center console?
If it is the same as the '02-'04 Exploder's, then you can use this:

It has 12" of faceplate room, and gives a no-holes mounting platform for the heads, a maplight and mic holders. It is a clean install and looks good.
Downfall is that the factory cupholder is gone, but you can get cupholder mounted in the console but it takes up 4" of space.
Overall, it's the only option for a clean install in the new midsize FoMoCo SUV's.
