Hello:
I am trying to connect a Motorola R1225 VHF Repeater to a Motorola Radius Lowband Mobile so that I can have a crossband repeater. I have the R1225 going into a TPL AMP so that I can acheive 100 Watts of power out. I need th repeater so that I can get portable coverage in my area. I need to connect the repeater to lowband because my local fire department is operating on lowband. I am utilizing a RICK Controller to interface between the two components. I have it going one way but not the other. If I transmit on a VHF portable, I can hear the audio come out on a lowband mobile. If I transmit on a lowband mobile, I can not here the audio on a VHF portable. I only get the flat carrier white noise. The noise that I am getting is a "white noise". I have tried a bunch of different configurations, and nothing. Can someoner please help!!!
Thanks,
Nick

Nick, time to look at some tech. info that can help.
First there are a bunch of dammned DIP switches in the RICK and some may not be correct, also check the Ju501 in the Low band radio.

Will:
Thanks for the reply. I have check and double checked all of the dip switches in the RICK. They all seem to be in the proper order. I have them set for bi-directional. I have changed the JU551 jumper inside the lowband to what the RICK Instructions tell me to do. I didn't see anything for the JU501. Do you think that I have to change anything inside the R1225 Transceiver?
Thanks,
Nick
