Enabling MDC on a MTX8000

I have an MTX8000 that I'd like to enable MDC on... what would I have to setup to get it working?

I can send someone a codeplug if that would just be easier...

i had a mtx8000 some years back and nomatter what i did i could not get it to do mdc,i even tried hacking the plug. even tho it allowed you to go into the menu in the program, my best guess is that the radio firmware doesnt allow mdc in trunked mode,

Actually, I'm looking to use it only in 800 conventional. A couple people have gotten back to me, and I haven't gotten to try what they have said but it looks like I should be able to at least enable it....

We'll see...
