I am checking into a repeater. I am told the model number is Q2932A. Is anyone familiar with this machine to the point that they can tell me if it is programmable,or, crystal controlled? Thank you.

The Q2932A is a Radius R100 series 450-470 Mhz, 2-10 Watt repeater. Both Tx and Rx are programmable using the 1990 version of the R100 RSS. This means it has to be programmed using DOS *only* and a very slow PC, no faster than 25 Mhz clock.

Is there a way to tell whether an R100 repeater is capable of pl,and/or dpl by it's model number. I see that there are different versions of this machine availible. I have found another Q2932A 10 watt whose owner claims it is capable of dpl, while another owner of an R100 25 watt version says it will only accept pl. Also, what is batlabs mailing address? I would like to send a donation, but, not over the internet. Thanks,Shaun

Hi:

Unfortunitely, the R100's unless Modified
with a External Tone Panel, is either a
[ PL ] Or [ DPL ] Model and is NOT easily
changed.

If its a DPL model, it will always be a DPL
model , but you can program the DPL Codes
accordingly.

I have alot of information ( Including Program Cables ) if you need them for the
R100 Series

Just email me direct @
