Sti-Co glass mount antenna info needed...(dealers read!)

Post by 007 »

For a project, I'm looking at the Sti-Co "covert" glass mount antennas for install on 1 Ford SUV and 2 Chevy sedans.

Need VHF and 800 coverage:

-60w TX on VHF at 144-149 and 151-159 MHz at 2:1 SWR
-VHF Air and VHF WX receive in high/good signal areas
-800 MHz receive only in high/good signal area

Looking at model #'s GLMT-DB-VHF/CEL and GLMT-SB-VHF (-SUV)

Any comments welcome about these antennas...and any dealers on the board, please contact me with pricing :D

Thanks!

We have been using the GLMT-DB-VHF/UHF antennas on undercover vehicles and are very pleased with the performance (if you need have an undercover antenna). We have used all types of band specific glass mounts with poor results. I would chose the Sti-Co glass mounts before using the fender mounted music radio antennas. Hope this helps.
