I have a Vhf hi power spectra and I have tried to program the control head to show what PL I am using when I use the MPL mode. I can get it to read Exp. TONE 1 but I have tried to get it to read 103.5 in the control head diplay but will not take, any secrets to this. And yes I do have the current software.

You can program the frequency as the alpha tag. Remember, though, the Spectra head doesn't display a decimal. You'll have to find something else to use as a decimal like a -, +, or *. I have my MPLs programmed as the number, frequency, and code; on the display, it looks like "1 100-0 1Z" and "12 131-8 3B"
