HT1000: Can I Pgm a H01KDCxAAxxN for half duplex Rptr OPs?

Can I Program an HT1000 H01KDCxAAxxN for half duplex Repeater use?
I ask because the Batlabs "Model Numbering System" chart says that I apparently need an H01KDCxBAxxN to do that. Doesn't sound right to me. All of the Ebay HT1000s are "AA" models.

I'm a ham, and would use the usual 600kHz split., (but of course would also need simplex).
Don't own any Mot. equipment, and am just trying to determine what would work. (I've read about what it takes to do programming, etc.) Thanks for any replies in advance.

your HT1000 would work fine on ham repeaters (providing its the correct bandsplit)
