Syntor X HHCH

Post by RADIOMAN2002 »

I just picked up one of the very many versions of the SyntorX HHCH. The interconnect box YLN4344a, doesn't have a legend for what cable goes into which connector. Anybody have a diagram, or know which connector the secure box or the head cable goes into. The plugs are the same pin number, and I don't feel like smoking the radio.

I have not found any Syntor X documentation with the YLN4344 part number (it may exist and I have just never found it). Check your part number again. Sometimes you can accidentally get an option connector or other miscellaneous part number instead.

Here is a link with all the Syntor X HHCH part numbers I have found:

I decided to bring this topic up again, since I have to repair the unit. The part number on the interface board is YLN-4344. The board is located in a plastic box which has a number of YLN-1077a, that is also used for the factory Motorola RIB. The cables it interfaces are,(1) the radio pack,(2) the extension cable to the HHCH,(3) the single code DES secure housing,(4)and another cable going to a small control head like the remote undercover siren that I believe is a code index for the securenet, with a 16 position rotary switch with an on/off switch. I am still looking for info, preferably a print for the interface, radio and HHCH. I believe it was a real extra-SP product for the Secret Service, since it has an earphone jack on the back of the HHCH.
