1992-1999 Suburban/Tahoe Ignition-Accessory wire location
Anyone know an "easy" location of a (+) 12V when ignition is turned on? I really don't want to tear up the steering column to get to one. Is there something near the fuse panel in the engine compartment with this?
Vehicle is a 1997 Suburban.

Will try that today! Thanks!eng23ine wrote:on my '99 tahoe the cigar lighter is always on so that wont work. there should be some unused switched taps in the fuse block under the hood. they should be on the right side, 3rd+4th down labeled ign A and ign B. hope this helps.
I'm trying to hook up my Syntor X9000. Do i have to hook up the green and orange wires to a constant (+) to keep memory (i.e. last volume setting...)? Right now just the main (+) wire is hooked up (fused of course). I was planning on hooking the orange & green to a fuse block that is powered via a 75A relay.
