I'm looking to install a few radios (all dash mount) in my Wrangler and would appreciate any advice or pics of installs. I'll probably have a GM300, uniden scanner, and Yaesu ft-2600 at the least. I may need a set of switches and my PA-300 if I join a VFD again soon.
Thanks guys.

That's a ton of radios to put into such a small space.
I've got a 2000 TJ myself, and weep at the supreme lack of space in that thing. Code 3 and I were barely able to get a remote-head Icom 2720 in there.
The best solution for multiple radios is a roof-mounted radio rack. THere are several models, one of them being here: http://www.allmyneeds.com/index.html?ta ... lang=en-us
It attaches to the upper windshield frame and the top rollbar. Seems a little confining to me (I like cruising without the top, plus I'm rather tall and would bump into anything hanging above my head), but it really is the best option for installing a lot of gear in a jeep.
My Icom's got the head mounted on the winshield frame (replaced the bikini top tiedown with the radio bracket), with the radio bolted to the rear of the centre console.
If you're at all interested, I can get some photos for you.
