Maxi Fuse Holder that's not CarAudioSexy

Post by Jonathan KC8RYW »

Does anyone know of a Maxi fuse holder that is not CarAudioSexy. All I seem to find is that over-priced bling-bling gold stuff.

While I'm on the subject, has anyone had good luck with DuraComm BB-# series ATO distribution blocks?

to be honest, those "bling bling" car audio ones are pretty good.

If you want to lose the bling'ness and stop yourself form being CarAudioSexy, use some black gloss spray paint on the cover and it looks alot less Blingish.

Also, look around a bit, those can be had pretty darn cheap.

I got mine at E&B Marine, as well as my fuse block. I would check a marine parts store, like west marine or whatnot. The quality of the parts are really strong, as well as reasonably priced. I too was having the problem of too much "bling bling-ness" on my car. However these are built with the same quality as the high end car audio ones, they just dont scream bling

Fuse Block

Post by KB2ZTX »

We use Littelfuse parts for the MEGA Fuse (100-250 AMP) and the holder part # 298900. For distribution we have had great luck with the BUSS 15600-06-20. This is a 6 ATO fuse block from a #10 stud. They have these from 6-10 fuse slots. We get them from Tessco, however I have picked them up at Pep-boys in a pinch
