dashmiser question

Post by sundaymoney »

Has anyone ever installed a dual strobe dashmiser with multiple patterns? I just saw a dual self-contained strobe dashmiser on ebay with multiple flash patterns and two push button switches on the side, one power and one pattern selector button. Does whelen make them or are they purely aftermarket?

I think the brandnew ones have them. If not the TIR6 dashmisers always had them... I will leave it to the Whelen Experts to answer in detail..

I haven't seen a "new" self-contained dashmiser in several years. I think the very early dashmisers had two patterns but I don't know about current production ones. I suppose it is possbible. I'm sure someone with a current catalog could answer better.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

Never seen them. It may have been repowered with a newer power supply, or its a remote dashmiser.
