Centralink 2000

Post by gunby »

I have a centralink 2000 system that the call log printer just stopped printing the call information. The server and all positions are working normally with no other problems. I know is is not a printer problem as you can from any PC print to that printer from any program other than palladium.

This system is not under HI TECH and I do not have a copy of the Centralink 2000 installation and maintenance manual. Neither Motorola nor Lucent supports documentation on this system. Lucent referred me to Intrada who they sold the system to, but I am getting nowhere for a month now. The system is using version 8.1.

Does anyone have a copy of this manual that I can borrow to have copied or will copy for me. I will pay any reasonable price.

thanks

The 8.1 version has a serious problem with filling up its Access database. When that happens it gets seriously confused.

Motorola has a document that explains how to copy off the Access database and replace the file with a fresh one. Your I.S. people may be able to help with that.

When this problem was first discovered, Motorola recommended re-installing Palladium as a fix. If you can't figure anything else out, go ahead and re-install from the distribution CD. That should solve your problem - even if it isn't related to the Access database issue.
