centracom button and led cross mute

Post by itjisfo »

i am having trouble getting some cross mutes out of a console ... recently we upgraded one of my customers channels and no longer need them cross muted . they used to be the same bands now they are uhf and vhf so the cross mute is no longer needed as they are cutting out the transmissions when the other base is keyed ... i can't remember how to remove a cross mute and can not find the right manual for help ... could someone either post instructions to remove a cross mute of the manual i could find that info .. this is a old centracom 2 button and led console... thanks in advance....

6809 OMI based button LED operator position cross-mutes are programmed with the personality PROM programmer.

68000 TOMI based operator position cross-mutes are entered using the operator position keypad & clock display. This is one of the diagnostic procedures and is described in the operator instruction manual.
