HT750 corrupted

HT750 up at the shop with a corrupted codeplug.

Any easy fixes or are we stucking sending this back to the depot?

Send a Blank HT750 Code Plug with same Model # and it might work it depends on how bad the coruption is...

Sometimes a firmware upgrade solves the problem as well.

Tried all that... looks like its going to Monty for repair.

First 750 we had that has corrupted on us like this at the shop.

Try to do a slightly different firmware upgrade. It requires an identical working radio that has not been upgraded yet to the upgrade level that you have available. The reason for this is that you cannot do an identical upgrade.

Start the upgrade with the working radio. When the screen tells you to flip the switch and remove and replace the battery, do all this, but switch the radio with the defective radio.

What you are doing here in the first step is verifying that the radio is upgradeable. The software will see that it is.
In the second step, the software now forces the upgrade in the switched defective radio.

This procedure worked for me several times. It does not change the serial numbers etc. On the other hand, if possible, doing this with two different models will likely produce some interesting results.
