Installing A-9/A-7 control heads in a ranger?

Post by Rick Rock »

I've got a 94 Ranger 5spd 4x2 ext. cab that I want to put my A-9 with DEK and an A-7 into and have it easily accessible but not interfering. I have the 60/40 bench seats and the cup holders. Any ideas??? Similar pics welcome also!

I believe that posting was the one I couldn't get the pics to show in. If it's this one, the pics show up as red X's: http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=16868

OK I think I didn't make my problem completely clear- my truck has a STICK SHIFT protruding from the floor right in the middle of where everyone else mounts their radio equipment.

I wasn't trying to be rude or anything like that, but I did mention my manual trans being the problem in the beginning and it was overlooked, so I just wanted to clarify that part. Sorry if I offended anyone on here, it wasn't my intent.

Rick, I didn't take it wrong (I believe you were referring to my "Whoa!"). I just was reading it fast at the beginning so I guess I overlooked it, as you said. But yeah, since you do have that manual in that thing, with the shifter on the floor there.. All I have to say is Good Luck and make sure you let us all know how you finally do it! -Brett W

Rick,
You could always put a auto trans in there. Just a thought. 8)

Considering I'm having problems with it, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm tired of shifting!!!
