impala install tip for lightbar

impala install tip for lightbar

I am looking for tips on run my cable for my code 3 lightbar to the battery? I don't what to cut a hole in the roof.

Well, if you don't want to cut a hole in the roof, it won't be installed properly. Go clean roof if you don't want to drill. Put some strobes in your tail lights and head lights and get a dash mount light.

However, I did see an old crown vic with the lightbar cable running down the A-frame pillar near the drivers seat on the outside. Looked really bad. Went under the wheel well and god knows where else.....

Doing it down the A pillar will get you alot of wind noise, I have seen it before.

why no hole? you already are slappin the crossbar up there...so whats a hole? drill it in the center that way when u get rid of the car it looks like a sat radio or cell antenna hole....

of course...no roofrack is the way to go. they only look "right" on suv's and pickups if using ur pov for anything...even pd...otherwise it just looks...well...you get the idea.

what can you expect out of jefferson county mo, just south of st louis. all the metro problems and no means to handle it why would there cars be any different. a PDs cars say a lot about a department

The cops here go through the B-pillar very close to the roof.
