CONVERTING TRUNK TRACKER SUBFLEETS TO MOTOROLA SUBFLEETS

THERE IS A COUPLE OF DEPARTMENTS IN MY AREA THAT ARE MOTOROLA 800MHZ. TYPE I TRUNKING BUT ALSO USE TYPE IIi HYBRID SYSTEM . I PRINTED OUT A LIST OF CONTROL CHANNELS AND SUBFLEETS THAT THEY ARE USING BUT I DONT THINK THERE IN MOTOROLA TERMS. FOR EXAMPLE 000-5 I KNOW THE SYSTEM ID THERE USING BUT HOW DO YOU ALSO FIND OUT THE SIZE CODE & FLEET ID ECT? I APPRECIATE THE INFO I UNDERSTAND I WONT BE THAT EASY TO FIGURE IT OUT THANKS IN ADVANCE

What you listed is a type 1 sizecode which in this case translates to fleet 0(00) and subfleet 5, I realize you listed that as an example.

I used trunker to figure out the size code for type 1 and true hybrid systems. It does a very good job at figuring those sizecodes out but could take some time on a not so very busy system.

I'd also look around http://www.trunktracker.com and http://www.trunkedradio.net. Both sites may list the info you're looking for.
