Anyone have a list of function tones for an MSF5000. I am programming a PC console at home (not near the books) to control an MSF5K & MSR2000 and need to ad the repeater knock-down & secure TX functions to certain buttons.

Functions tones for MSF5000

The functions can be applied to any frequency, of which there are 15. They start at 2050 and go down to 650, spaced 100 Hz apart. The tone remote console you're using might be limited in the frequencies it can generate, so you need to make sure the two are set up for the same tones.
You can enter the appropriate functions on any tone you want. For repeater setup and knockdown, they provide RPT ON and RPT OFF function. For secure operation you have ENCRYPT ON and ENCRYPT OFF, but these only work in a tone (as opposed to DC) remote configuration.
I believe the entire list is on the help screen in RSS - press F1 when you're assigning functions to the various tone frequencies to see what your choices are.

I checked several of the Motorola-provided codeplug (.DEF) files. They have the following assignments:
2050 - MON
1950 - CH 01
1850 - CH 02
1350 - CH 03
1250 - CH 04
1150 - MORE
1050 - MORE
The rest of the tone frequencies (with the exception of the guard tone) are unassigned. There may be suggested or standardized frequency assignments from the point of view of the remote control terminal, but the only ones that the RSS specifies are listed above.
The DC remote control similarly has several channels specified but nothing relating to repeater on/off control.
I did find a table on the web that seems to define the "standard" tone settings. See http://www.genave.com/tone_remote.htm for more information.
