Another SP50 question:Signalling

I am new to the signalling functions to motorola radios. I just need some info on how to configure my SP50's. I was told that there is a setting to make it emit a single beep (like the power up beep) whenever there is a signal detected on a channel that you specify. I realize I will have to program my base station with the same features. If anyone knows of a website that can explain more info on how to program this feature let me know. Thanks again for all the help you experts offer, it is greatly appriciated.

it will emit a priority beep while in scan but as far as i know without an add on qc2 board the sp50 has no signalling
