Hi there;

Well first of all, what split do you have?

These things don't really like to play that much out of band. I had a 403-430MHz model that didn't appreciate going above 434 all that much.

But, it's quite simple to make it go out of band, at least as far as programming is concerned.

http://www.batlabs.com/mcx1000.html has lots of information, here's the part you need to do;
Programming the Radio Out of Band

If you want to program some out of band frequencies into your radio (may not work to well, but you can try), it is quite simple. All you have to do is:

* load the saved file for your radio into the RSS
* go and change the bandsplit (same place it will let you change the model)
* program the out of band frequencies into the channels you want
* go change the bandsplit back to the proper one
* program the radio.

If you go and look at the channel(s) you changed while under the correct bandsplit, the software will have a fit and not display them, however, they are still there.
Like I said, it might work, it might not. Hopefully it works out for you.
