4008B RIB for pager programming?

All;

Can the RLN4008B RIB be used in place of the Universal Interface for programming pagers (specifically, the FLEX pager)? I have the 4008B RIB and can fabricate a cradle easily.

The pager in question has 2 pins, as does an original cradle. I'm assuming one is GND and the other BUS+ or something similar; anyone know which is which?

Not sure if you can, but would also like to know about using that RIB for Min III programming. Thanks

NO the RLN4008B can not be used to program pagers the electronics and how the pagers are read is much different than the radios but i belive you can get a ribless cable for the minitor 3 not sure on the part number check with Motorola Support 18004224210 prompt 3 then 2
