2 problems:
1 - I'm looking for a company that makes rack panels for CDM mobiles and tone remotes. (CDM and tone remote combination x 9) I plan on installing them into a 60" indoor cabinet.
2 - I need ideas to take 8 or 9 audio pairs (600 ohm) and combine them into one speaker, and have independant volume control for each source. A mixer / amplifier combo thing. The audio source is ~150' away from where the speaker will be. It also has to be a small table top control / speaker. (Goal = 1 tabletop speaker with 8 or 9 volume controls, something small.) I'd love to do some DSP stuff. 8-9 audio into the "unit" and CAT5 it to the remote spot and have volume controls for each source.
Ideas or known products?!?!?!

There have been a couple of threads about custom rack mounts for CDMs. This particular one comes to mind:

No ideas on the audio mixing.

Well, from the pro audio side of the street, take a look at Ashly's VCM-88 or VCM-88E
http://www.ashly.com/product/vcm-series.htm
Remote controled mixing via DC control voltage, or computer control. Mix it at the radios, and send one audio and one control line to the monitoring position.
They have free control software, and their protocols are openly published if you want to write your own. Alternately, they make a dedicated control surface or, again, you can build your own.
Hope you have a budget. The VCM-88 is around $660, and the dedicated remotes are around $130, but it's about as elegant as it gets.
As for the panels, Middle Atlantic Products, all the way.

After looking at Middle Atlantic, that's what I remembered seeing in the past, just could find the thread.
Do you have a part # for the single punched and dual punched? I can only find "CDM1250" and "CDM750" but no indication of single or dual. Also, if I went with dual, is there enough space behind the radio on the shelf to mount a termination panel? (Space conservation.)
And I read ~$75 each? Still hold true? (I'll end up calling tomorrow.)
Looks like the Ashly will solve the problem also. $660? Piece of cake.
All questions answered thus far... if anyone else has ideas, call 'em out!!!!
Thanks for the help!

They are still probably in the $75-$90 range. MAP doesn't sell direct, they will send you through a dealer.
The best thing to do is to call them directly, and describe exactly what you want, and let them give you the specs to pass to the dealer.
They'll probably just have you write it as "RSH4A2S, Motorola CDM1250, dual openings", or something similar (BTW- that's for a 2U black brushed anodized finish, powder coat would be RSH4S2S, and aluminum would be RSH4C2S). The part numbers are generic to a given rack height and finish configuration, regardless of the cut out.
The shelves are 11.5" deep so, depending on what kind of terminaton you are talking about (66/110 block?), you might or might not make it. If you are using a low band radio, I would bet the answer is a definite "no".
