Can anyone explain what each of the buttons & the three way switches can be programmed to do on the HT1000?
Thanks

- What radios do you own?: XTS3000 MTS2000 M1225 HT1000
As far as I know about the HT1000, the Orange Button on top does emergency signalling.
The Blueish/greenish side button lights up the display/keypad on the series of Jedi that actually have that feature. (only the keypad on HT1000)
I think it can also do something with scan, to, although I'm not 100% sure on that.
Not sure about the button below that, but the button above the PTT will let out static if pressed.
Now, as far as the A/B/C switch goes, there are numerous things that can be configured to preform. Such as; Power Settings, P/L (or) DPL tone enable/disable, Repeater/talkaround, Scan Features, and there are quite a few more, just with mixtures of the above features. (I'd have to fire up my RSS to find out all of them) If I remember correctly, the emergency button can do something with scan, but I'm not sure on that. Somebody elese here mentioned that on the bord here I think. It really all depends on what you would like the radio to do, or how it is setup.
Hope that helps, Ray.

- What radios do you own?: I can't enter that much....
Best I remember, there are a couple of pages in the HT1000 manual on this subject. Yes, there are that many possible configurations. If you need, I think I have a manual here somewhere. I can scan the related pages and e-mail them to you. Just let me know, but be patient. I'm always running a few days behind....
