Hi everybody,

Just wondering, is there a diffrence between a Depot Versio and a Lab version, am kind of confused about those things., Hope somebody can help.

From what I understand, its bascially the same thing. The spectra's would say LAB, and the Astro series would say depot, but both did the same thing (for what I have been told, as I do not own it).

The depot version that's in common circulation is nearly useless on a modern radio. It's version 3.04 of the RSS, basically, and we're up to version 9.01 now. It basically doesn't understand IMBE and won't directly support any radio with IMBE generation firmware. (Host 4, DSP 5 or higher) The only way to make it work with a newer radio is to force-feed an older VSELP codeplug into the radio which ruins it for all practical purposes. Restrict your use of that software only to older VSELP based radios if you don't want to damage your toys.
