Saber I, II, and III were US radios. The MX1000, MX2000, and MX3000 were export radios. Same radios. Same cases. Different tags. Different RSS. Different bandsplits (on on some).

The Saber have 12 Ch and the MX 10 Ch (120 and 100). Most of Mx radios have the 5 tone and no encryption.
There is a special "MX" for german law enforcment, the MX3010 (2 Meter) and MX3013 (4 Meter). Both are 6d Sabers (not mx) with a very special software.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to dump a Saber codeplug into a MX?000, and have it behave correctly?
