Harley Radio Mounting

We are looking at 2 Harley-Davidson Electra Glides for some part-time traffic work. Has anyone mounted a control head in the fairing where the AM/FM radio goes with a motorcycle remote kit to the helmet? Also, how about adding speakers where the OEMs go for the radio when the helmet kit is not used? I've seen radios mounted on the front fork on Road Kings but not in the fairings on Electra Glides. Pictures would be helpful. Thanks.
