MSF5000 UHF out of band???

Hello,

How much will the msf5000 CXB 450-470 model go above 470. What is required??

by going in 5 mhz steps we got them into ham band and work as well as original band

So you should be able to ove it up or down about 30 mhz

The band splits are 405-435 and 435-475. If there is a third split, it would start at 475, but my manual only shows range 1 and range 2. So you should be good to at least 475.

My two bits worth:
Why not try to tune one up and see what happens?
I think there may be a problem with the VCO lock range.

What I am really looking for is that someone had said previously that they were able to bring the unit up to the 480's, but along with re-tuning may have needed to swap out some parts..

My question, What parts do you think that might be..
