adjusting ht 1000 tx audio

adjusting ht 1000 tx audio

Im trying to adjusting ht 1000 tx audio,is there any way to do this via rss,or inside the radio,i have to eat the radio to make it sound half way loud ...any one's help would be great

Make sure you don't have the mode set for 12.5Khz channel spacing. If you're on a 25khz channel that will do it. The Tx deviation is aligned in the service section of the RSS. You may also want to enable mic AGC, but this may have adverse effect if in your in a high niose environment, but will make a significant difference otherwise.
