Will PURC 5000 UHSO work in MSF 5000 900?

Post by CQCQCQDX »

I have the older MSF 5000 900 repeater without the ref osc tray. I'm wondering if the PURC 5000 tray will work. I have a line on one. Anyone know? Thanks.

I think it will, but Bernie is the real guru - he'll tell us for sure.

My two bits worth:
I beleive that the UHSO drawers are very similar, if not identical.

I use an old "A" version 800 uniboard to generate the 14.4MHZ reference when I bench check a station that requires an external reference.

Thank you guys for the replies. I caught Bernie's 14.4 explanation in another thread, so I'm hoping I can make the PURC work, so to speak.
