That looks like just what I'm looking for, also forgot to mention my HT1000 is a 2-Channel UHF B-Model "S" Split. That auction states:
*voyager* ebay auction #5769334912 wrote:It includes a new outer case/housing, complete with front and top escutcheons (2, 8, or 16 channel), as well as the volume control knob, channel knob (2, 8, or 16 channel), accessory cover, and the PTT button!
So will it work for me?

The bare front cover plastic is about $12. You'll also need the speaker grille (between $2-3) If the stickers didn't get blemished they'll come off intact if you heat them a bit with a hair dryer or leave them out in the direct sun about an hour, everything else can be scavenged from the old housing and put on the new. The refurb kit is an easier way to go but if you want to save the bucks let me know and I'll get those 2 part #'s.

I think I'll just go with the refurb kit, as long as I don't have to solder.

Both the front Labels (Motorola/HT1000) are in bad shape, scraped pretty deep the M and L are almost invisible and the HT on HT1000 is nearly completely scratched off. The speaker area (below the Motorola label) took the most damage, it's scratched deep.

The picture in the auction that was posted in my other post above has the HT1000/Motorola Label's in the package... plus the front, So I guess I'll be good to go. RadioSouth do you know if there will be any soldering involved if i purchase that item (from *voyager*)?

There is no soldering involved. I've recased quite a few Jedis, and the main thing to be aware of is not to tear the flexs when removing the speaker and front keypad board (if you have one).

Are you looking for brand new? If you don't mind used, I think I have a few laying around here that are in decent shape I can send you (free). I just have the plastic, so you'd have to re-use your electronics but that's really easy to swap out.

Anyone know the part number for the HT1000 DTMF Refurb kit? Not the re-work kit, but the refurb kit, plastic only? New front cover, keypad, stickers and knobs.. No electronics....
