Need replacement part #'s

Post by The Pager Geek »

I need to replace the rails in a 70" Motorola cabinet. "Floor Mount 70" CEB Cabinet." The ones in it are currently chopped up pretty bad. Anyone have any part #'s laying around?

I'd love to get a 70" version (68" rails to be exact) of the 60" Quantar cabinet rails (that require the self-tapping screws) but I'll take whatever I can get a part # for.

Thanks

Just a guess, but should be close

Hey TPG, here's my guess and hopefully it'll help.

I have a beige 70" Moto cabinet. I have no clue what it's called or if it's a "Floor Mount 70" CEB Cabinet". But I can tell you what I do know.

I got this cabinet for installing a MSF5000. It is 70" tall. It has 2 fan knockouts on the top. It has 3 knockouts toward the rear cabinet door for installing Celwave N-bulkhead lightening arrestors. It came with 10 or 20 ft of green-yellow #4 ground cable. The doors have two columns of horizontal vents running up-down the entire height of the door.

Sound like what you have?

If so, the part # of the rails I have in this cabinet are: 4684073T01

And yes, they are the rails that need the self-tapping screws. And they are "L" shaped and in my beige cabinet above, I can put the rails at either very front, middle or very rear of the cabinet. To match the depth of a Compa-Station 36" cabinet of the original MSF5000, I have 2 rails in the front, and 2 in the middle.

Hope that helps.

The cabinet I have is:
70" in height, beige with dark brown hinged doors.
A rectangular vent cut-out on top with 2 larger bulk head punch outs, 2 smaller right next to them. The rear door has 2 rectangular vent cut-outs.

The most noticable feature is the lack of bottom. Only small angled pieces at the corners for floor mounting bolts, but the remainder is open.

Pictures available if needed.

What is the length of the rails you have? I may order one for the hell of it to see if it will work. I'll need 4 total, but at ~$70 each... I'll try one first.

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, I didn't take any measurements of the rail. I think your idea is good, just buy one at $70 and see if it works. If not, send it back and at least get most of your money back. If it works out, get 3 more and you're set. :D
