Im thinking about buying a computer controlled scanner.... specifically the ICOM PCR-1000. What do you think of these units? If you have a PCR-1000 for sale, let me know - chances are Ill take it if the price is right. Thanks.

Hi Matt! Well I like what I see:http://www.icomamerica.com/receivers/pc ... 0main.html I haven't seen it till now! I kinda prefer the handheld scanners. So if something is happening in the back of my QTH, then PD or whatever changes location, I can move around too! Your gonna need a Diamond Discone antenna (50Mhz to 1.3 Gig) so you can cover the major part of the band. what do you think of it? Ed

Yeah..... that is the site. They come with an antenna that covers the band quite nicely..... I like them. I am looking to purchase one. I would probably hook it up to my MDT in my vehicle instead of having a regular scanner mounted in there. Anyone have one for sale?
