Group,
Is there anyone here who has done any installations of antennas, P.A. Speakers (behind the grill), radios, in cab speakers for two way radios, am-fm stereos, XM radio, laptop mounts or mounting, or Etc in a 2002 GMC Sierra Extrended Cab Pick Up Truck.
I have one of these trucks and am looking for ideas for my own truck.
Thanks in advance.
Doug

Yup, did just about all of the above in current '05 vehicles
Did lightbar, 2-way, siren, park-kill, strobes, HLF's, dual battery setup, etc.

I owned one for 3 years, just downsized to a Canyon. I can probably help you with some of your questions.
I had a Spectra, Scanner, front and rear hideaway strobes, GPS and LED bar in mine.
Now, How am I going to get all that stuff in the Canyon?

I've got a 99 sierra extended cab, pretty much the same thing.
currently I have:
VHF CDM1550 remote mount
UHF M1225
Whelen HFSA4 siren/switch panel
Whelen Remote9 relay center
UPS188 Power supply
Slimlighter above the rearview mirror
2 TIR3's in the grille
4 clear hideaways up front
2 hideaways in the amber turn's in the rear
2 Tomar RECT37 strobes mounted in the rear window of the cap
Tail light flasher
CPI speaker behind the grille.
These trucks are pretty easy to do installs in, if you have the full center console (like I do) you have to be creative to mount more than 1 radio.
I would do a search,,, over the last few years there has been numerous posts dealing with this style vehicle.
other wise you can PM or Email me with any specific questions you may have.
