Sounds like that other guy on here that has the radar setup on his dash... somewhere in Maryland as a matter of fact. He even admitted to wanting his car to look like a MD state police cruiser.va3wxm wrote:There's a good discussion on hamsexy about this. Also turns out this guy had a full radar setup on the dash too.

Well I drive a Honda accord. I have 5 on the back of my car
Antenna 1 Scanner
Antenna 2 220mhz for Kenwood F6a
Antenna 3 440mhz For Mobile
Antenna 4 2meter 5/8th For Mobile
Inside the car CHP Red Map Light to use to adjust the Radio while driving.
They are all up in a row on the back trunk of the car. I also have in the rear window an Amber led brick on each side and they flash from side to side. When I got stopped By SJPD for failure to yield I turned them on while pulling over and I was commented on them because the officer said that he then knew that I was giving him a signal and warning others behind me that I was pulling over...all this from me...And that night I was the designated driver...just confused on what street this new dance club was...

Apparently, they like to do that out here in Los Angeles as well.jhooten wrote:The state sells you a car, then one of it's agents charges you for operating it. It is a wonderful world we have created for our selves.
Buy a used Tahoe at a state auction.
Get ticketed for (a) black and white paint job, (b) strobes and (c) grill mounted speaker on the way home.
Sigh...

Emoticons are the wheel chair ramps for the emotionally handicapped.
Its illegal to have your car painted black and white? What if I tell the officer I want my car painted like a Oreo Cookie....A story that won't get bought. Well I have been warned also for having my ambers on my car but I in no way abuse them. They are strictly for Emergency Use only. I mean when you are changing a flat tire on the side of the road do people acutally slow down when they see just your hazzard flashers on. In fact I think most people usually speed up. But then again im in California. Where the gas is $2.60 a gal and people still drive hummers and fast cars. Eh. I think it depends on who pulls you over and what mood the officer is in. I would love to get a car from the CHP but im all worried that I would be targeted just like that man from the story. Especially me being a 24yr old young adult they would love to throw the charges at me or find some stupid penal code charge me with and flush my future career in Law Enforcement down the Porta potty.
Alright....this is fairly off topic for this fourm.
