Ford ranger manual trans install accomplished! (with pics)

I finally figured out a way to install a remote spectra tastefully, without destroying the interior.

If you remove the ashtray completely, pull the 2 star screws holding the mount in, and remove the mount, you can cleanly mount an A5 or A7 head by placing the bracket @ the outer edge of the ashtray mount and drilling 2 holes to hold it in place. Set the control head as centered as possible on the ashtray mount, don't get too far to either edge, as the head won't be adjustable. Now reinstall the ashtray mount, run your remote cable in from the backside, and attach the head. This may also work for an A9 head, but I haven't tried it yet. This will allow the head to set comfortably without hitting it with the gearshift.

Well, you guys are in luck for 2 reasons- 1, I found my camera, 2, I haven't completely removed the radio yet. Sorry about the blurriness, but you can see the placement and the mounting ok.
