Just wondering if there is a way to change a 4 channel cp200 into a 16 channel without having to send the unit to motorola.

i've changed 2ch to 6ch but i don't think you can get 16 in that radio. if you can i think it only gives you an option for 4 pl codes.

Yes, they only come in 4 or 16 channels (not 2...HLA might be thinking of a different model), and to my knowledge it's a firmware thing...can't be hacked in the traditional sense with hex editing or codeplug forcing.RadioSouth wrote:2 channel CP200 ? 4 or 16 isn't it ?
